Marketplace

AIDC 2011 Marketplace is growing and set to offer an even greater range of opportunities for delegates.  All will be revealed in the coming weeks.  In the meantime, here's a snapshot of the range of opportunities and facilities made available to 2010 delegates:

MeetMarket, Trailer Park, VideothequeEditor's Hour, Trailer Park Pitch Session, Discovery Ignite Pitch Session

MeetMarket
Presented in association with Screen Australia

MeetMarket is designed to match selected documentary makers’ most innovative project ideas with over 50 national and international executive producers, broadcasters and distributors attending AIDC 2010.

MeetMarket provides the opportunity for creative and original ideas to be fast-tracked within a supportive and structured setting. Projects entered may be at any stage of development, production or post-production.

Executive producers, broadcasters and distributors view online two-minute pitch teasers of up to 25 selected documentary projects in advance of attending AIDC. After viewing, these executives choose which projects they wish to discuss further in one-on-one meetings with the documentary producers scheduled during the AIDC within a specially designated room at the conference.

MeetMarket 2011 submissions open on Monday 30 August 2010.
