Michael writes, directs, produces and edits the majority of their narrative, documentary and commercial work. He remains a filmmaker with a huge passion for dramatic and comedic storytelling to engage, inform and move an audience. These storytelling sensibilities are the engine of Wide Awake.

Wide Awake Studios is a Perth video production company made up of filmmaker Michael Nicholls and a group of very talented freelance artists. And though our clients pay the bills, we have to break it to you…we work for the audience. Because if we can’t show the world what’s inspiring and unique about you, your ethics, your business, your passions, the audience won’t feel a thing. And trust us, if you let us in, and we get along, we’re going to make something special, and they’re going to bloody love you. We are Wide Awake. And we want to show the world what people are made of.
