Film Futurism with Violeta Ayala
Innovation Film futurist, visionary filmmaker, artist and writer Violeta Ayala illuminates the path for the future of nonfiction and the innovative ways creators can embrace new technology and set a new visual language for a more promising future.
Violeta Ayala is a visionary filmmaker, film futurist, artist and writer. Traversing documentary, VR, XR, AR and Web 3.0, Violeta’s works have screened at Sundance, Toronto, and Cannes XR. She has won over 50 awards including a Walkley and she is the first Quechua member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.
During this presentation, Violeta will share her insights and perspectives on the future of nonfiction VR and the role of technology, such as Artificial Intelligence, VR, AR, and 3D production, in democratising filmmaking. She will draw on her extensive background in documentary filmmaking to demonstrate how creators can use these new technologies to shape their vision, set a new visual language, and pave the way for a more promising future.
