This session will delve into the latest findings from VisualGPS, an ongoing research project by Getty Images, to provide an analysis of several key topics seen in local documentaries, including sustainability, the future of technology, and inclusivity, supported by third-party data.
The panel will also discuss and share examples from Edge of Existence (Storymaker), the themes and topics explored throughout the episodes, and the archival and creative content used to bring the series to life.
The data overview from the Australian and New Zealand market combined with examples on how different types of video and stills content can be utilised in productions will leave producers with insights and inspiration for their 2023 projects and beyond.
