After having worked over a decade in the media sector in copyright clearance for commercial sales, TV acquisitions and as an Indigenous talent researcher for the ABC, she made the move to join Screen Australia’s First Nations department in March 2022.
One of Ebony’s biggest achievements was building the ABC’s first-ever, First Nations pan-ABC talent database. Within the first few months of launching, the database received over 120 First Nations talent, expressing their interest to be contacted by ABC creatives for on-air opportunities and production roles.
Ebony a Western Arrernte woman, is now a First Nations development and investment manager working alongside Angela Bates, Joseph Cardona and Murray Clapham and looks forward to elevating diverse First Nations talent and stories.
