Looking through the lens of archive-driven feature documentary Still We Rise, join the creative team as they unpack the edit process and explore the complex nature of archival documentary making. First Nations Practitioners Only.
50 years on, the Aboriginal Tent Embassy is the oldest continuing protest occupation site in the world. The 2022 archival documentary Still We Rise takes a fresh lens into a year of protest and revolutionary change for First Nations people.
In this session, the creative team behind the documentary, including writer/director John Harvey, producer Anna Grieve, archivist Tasha James and ABC Head of Indigenous Kelrick Martin, join us to unpack the edit and explore the complex nature of archival documentary making.
Note: First Nations Practitioners Only.
