Amelia Hapsari is a documentary filmmaker born and raised in Indonesia. From 2012-2020, she was the Program Director of In-Docs, where she galvanised funding and distribution opportunities for Indonesian and Asian documentary films.

She is the co-creator of Docs By The Sea, Good Pitch Southeast Asia, Good Pitch Indonesia and Dare to Dream Asia. From 2020 to present she is the Communication Director for Ashoka Indonesia; building an Everyone a Changemaker movement with leading system-changing change makers as well as leaders in the education, family, faith and many other sectors. Amelia is the first Indonesian to join the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences. She is currently living and working between Indonesia and Australia.
