As Software Engineering Manager at the National Film and Sound Archive (NFSA), Scott leads projects leveraging modern technologies, including Artificial Intelligence and Knowledge Graphs, to unlock, share and make new discoveries in the collection.

Prior to joining the NFSA, Scott worked in eResearch, building online systems to augment research and make open data FAIR (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable).

Scott has a passion for the application of technology in exploring societal issues and has worked with academia and governments across domains of Arts & Culture, Environment, Indigenous Knowledge Management, Citizen Science, History, Smart Cities and Climate Change.
