AIDC is honoured to welcome a Canadian delegation to our 2025 event, proudly presented by the Consulate General of Canada in Sydney with the support of Telefilm and the Indigenous Screen Office (ISO).
Comprising eight Canadian documentary and factual producers, the Canadian delegation is designed to foster new international connections and collaborations between Australian and Canadian production companies participating in AIDC.
Are you an Australian producer looking for a Canadian co-production partner for your documentary or factual projects? Want to learn more about Canadian production companies and their development slate?
Presented by the Consulate General of Canada in Sydney with the support of Telefilm and the Indigenous Screen Office (ISO), the Australian x Canadian Co-Production Market is designed to facilitate international co-production opportunities and creative and business collaborations between Australian and Canadian producers representing their production companies and participating in AIDC 2025.
Australian producers interested in meeting with Canadian companies are now invited to register for the Australian x Canadian Co-Production Market. Selected producers will take part in 20-minute meetings with Canadian producers to discuss potential projects for co-production – to hear co-production pitches from Canadian producers and/or to pitch a potential co-production project to Canadian producers.
All participating producers are invited to take part in an online Australian x Canadian Co-Production Workshop prior to AIDC with a focus on showcasing co-production opportunities and incentives between the two countries. The Australian x Canadian Co-Production Workshop will take place online in early February for Australian and Canadian producers taking part in the Co-Production Market.
