Indigenous Creators Program: Indigenous Creators Pitch

Indigenous Indigenous Creators Program participants are invite to join us for the debut Indigenous Creators Pitch. Four Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander creators will pitch their projects in development to a closed room of local and international buyers looking to support Indigenous-led nonfiction stories.

First Nations practitioners only

Making its debut in 2025, the AIDC Indigenous Creators Pitch is an exciting new initiative designed to uncover new voices, innovative projects, and formats from across the Country. Hear from the four selected project teams as they pitch their projects in development to a closed room of local and international buyers looking to support Indigenous-led nonfiction stories, and secure potential market support for their project

Decision makers include representatives from ABC Indigenous, NITV, Screen Australia, Catapult Film Fund, POV, CBC, Doc Society and Shark Island Institute.

One project will be selected to receive the $5,000 Indigenous Creators Pitch prize presented by AIDC. All Indigenous Creators Program participants are invited to watch and support all teams pitch.
