Information Session Come learn about the producer/commissioning editor relationship and ABC/Northern Pictures new Indigenous Documentary Placement.
What exactly does the producer/commissioning editor relationship really look like?

In this session, they will showcase their current non-fiction slates and the protocols they have set-up for working with Indigenous creatives.
The session also provides an opportunity for Indigenous practitioners keen to learn more about the Indigenous Documentary placement with ABC and Northern Pictures including the ins and outs of the placement, the types of productions they may be working on and the different skills they can expect to develop from their time with ABC and Northern Pictures.
The Indigenous Creators Program is a series of four sessions that are available to all Australian and international Indigenous and First Nations practitioners registered to attend AIDC. These sessions are optional to attend and will be closed to media and non-Indigenous practitioners.
