To open the 2025 Indigenous Creators Program, join all AIDC First Nations Practitioners - from Australia and across the globe - and hosts Kelrick Martin, Douglas Watkin, Kaylene Butler and Devina McPherson, for a welcome yarning circle.
First Nations practitioners only
Welcoming all First Nations practitioners from Australia and across the globe to come together, introduce yourselves and share the stories you want to tell, as well as yarn about how best to navigate AIDC 2025 to get the most out of your experience.
Hosted by Kelrick Martin, First Nations AIDC board member and Head of ABC Indigenous; Douglas Watkin, director, producer and Head of Production at Double Wire Productions; filmmaker Kaylene Butler; and Devina McPherson, AIDC First Nations Producer, the Yarning Circle will bring together all Indigenous Creators Program participants, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander practitioners as well as visiting First Nations guests from across the globe, before heading to the Indigenous Creators Welcome event.
