Screenrights Cultural Fund: Unquiet Impact Lab
Business Learn about the Screenrights Cultural Fund grant round in 2025 and hear from funding recipient the Unquiet Collective on their Distribution and Impact Lab.
Known for its administration of secondary royalties to screen content creators, Screenrights also drives the Screenrights Cultural Fund, an annual grant round that provides up to $50,000 per project for initiatives that foster the creation and appreciation of screen content in Australia and New Zealand.
In this session, the Unquiet Collective – recipients of the 2023 Screenrights Cultural Fund – will showcase their Distribution and Impact Lab initiative. Unquiet is working with three films through an intensive social impact and non-theatrical planning lab in the lead-up to their release, looking at such topics as: development of an impact strategy; sector and social movement mapping and partnership development; distribution strategies; non theatrical tools and strategies; contract and budget advice; fundraising, PR, marketing and theatrical release advice; relationships with other filmmakers, and more.
Join us to find out more about Screenrights and revenues through secondary royalties, insights into the Unquiet Collective Distribution and Impact Lab, and how to apply for Screenrights Cultural Fund grants for your screen industry initiative in 2025.
