Chanel Bowen is an experienced screen industry professional and trained Access Coordinator with her production company, Norfolk Pictures, dedicated to championing disabled stories and practitioners. Offering a unique perspective as a person who has become disabled while working in the screen industry, she has been on both sides of the fence. In this session Chanel is joined by writer/director Isaac Elliott (We Are Sexual Beings) to speak to their shared experience with Hard as Puck (in production) and on documentaries with and without an access coordinator. The pair will provide actionable steps for industry practitioners wanting to make their own productions more inclusive.
