We are now accepting ideas, nominations and contributions for AIDC 2025 sessions, speakers and session producers

Are you a documentary or factual storyteller, advocate, innovator, decision maker, or impact-maker with an idea or insights to share?

Planning for the AIDC 2025 program is now underway and we want to hear from you!

As Australia’s premier event for the non-fiction screen sector, AIDC is the ideal platform for sharing knowledge, expertise and fresh ideas.

AIDC is currently seeking expressions of interest across the areas of business, craft, innovation, impact, and industry trends relevant to the documentary, factual, unscripted, audio, immersive and digital nonfiction sectors.

We are particularly interested in ideas that focus on:

  • Future of the nonfiction sector
  • Technological innovations
  • Global trends in nonfiction
  • International collaborations and co-pros
  • Creative experimentations across genre, style and form
  • New voices and future storytellers
  • Shifting audience behaviours
  • Alternative exhibition and distribution pathways
  • Innovations in broadcasting, streaming and digital platforms
  • Regulation, reform, sustainability of our sector

Your submission should be clear and relevant. Ideally you should provide an outline of the outcomes you hope to achieve, and any research that has gone into it already.

The quality of the supporting material will elevate your submission. Ensure the depth of thought that has gone into your proposal comes across.
