Originally from the UK, Dan moved to Perth 20 years ago having worked for broadcasters all over the world. He spent 8 years at the ABC as a producer, series producer and then Executive Producer before starting Joined Up films in 2010. He loves to develop new ideas formats and play with the form of documentary.

Joined Up has gone on to produce many award-winning formats and single docs including: Who’s Been Sleeping in My House? Is Australia Racist? Apex Gang – Behind the Headlines, Australia’s Secret Heroes, Stargazers Guide to the Galaxy and many more.

Dan recently executive-produced Coronavirus Australia: Our Story (10), Will Australia Ever Have A Black Prime Minister? (ABC), Is Australia Sexist? (SBS), Are You Addicted to Technology? (SBS) and is currently working on a wide range of projects. He seems to particularly like a “?” at the end of a title.
