He oversees MIFF’s industry initiatives, including the content development and finance event 37°South Market, the talent development program Accelerator Lab, and the Premiere Fund which provides co-financing for new films to premiere at MIFF.

The Premiere Fund co-finances new, quality Australian feature narrative and documentary films to premiere at MIFF. Since 2007, the Fund has supported more than 100 “stories that need telling” including feature documentaries Franklin, Ellis Park, Because We Have Each Other, Volcano Man, Hating Peter Tatchell, Off Country, Ablaze, Left Write Hook, Queens of Concrete, The Song Keepers, Putuparri & The Rainmakers, The Family, Electric Boogaloo, The Eulogy, Bastardy, and This is Going to be Big.
