Gunny majored in architecture first and studied film & TV production BA/MA in WSU America. He started his documentary career with Prime Time Documentary slots as a director. He became one of founding members of the first International Documentary Film Festival(EIDF) organized by Public TV since 2004. Gunny worked first as a programmer and then Executive Producer later. He has also worked in the Netherlands (Radio Netherlands) as a trainee and producer in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia, ABU Headquarter.

EIDF is one of the only International Documentary Film Festivals organized by a Public TV network. K-DOCS is also supports documentary films at various stages with prize money ranges exceeding more than $500,000 USD. We annually acquire about 60 feature films (TV rights).
