He is best known for producing the multi-award winning documentary The 10 Conditions of Love (2009), which made international headlines (The Age, NY Times, WSJ, CNN, The New Yorker, Der Spiegel, Le Monde, China People’s Daily) when the Chinese government pressured to ban its premiere at the MIFF. Since then, his feature Mother With A Gun (2016) screened internationally on Netflix and won Best Australian Documentary Feature at the Antenna Awards; his TV one-off Fair Game (SBS, 2017) sparked an ongoing national discussion in Australia on systemic racism within the AFL; and his latest feature Television Event (Tribeca, 2020) continues to screen internationally to critical acclaim.
