2020 sees Joseph step up into film producing with innovative science documentary Worlds (dir. Josef Gatti), and direction with River (dir. Jen Peedom, co-dir. Joseph Nizeti). Since collaborating with Jennifer Peedom on Mountain (2017), Joseph has served as story consultant and development producer across Jen’s full documentary and drama slate with Stranger Than Fiction Films and producing partner Jo-anne McGowan. Joseph’s experience in writing and post-production have made him an insightful collaborator across the storytelling process, with recent lecturing engagements in documentary story structure at AFTRS Sydney, and return story consultancy engagements with Jungle Entertainment and director Samantha Lang. As a recording producer and composer, Joseph has an accomplished background across classical and film music. 

Following an early career in theatrical scoring and electronic music production, Joseph progressed to work as Multimedia Producer with the Australian Chamber Orchestra. Since 2013, Joseph has collaborated frequently as co-writer and producer with violinist/composer Richard Tognetti AO on original music for live touring and feature film productions, in addition to international touring engagements with the ACO as a keyboardist, percussionist and guitarist.
