María José [MJ] Arauz is a bilingual (English and Spanish) Documentary Producer and Business Affairs with experience in documentary feature films and short films in Honduras, the US, and Canada with a passion for elevating BIPOC Latin voices. She studied Film and Television Business. MJ is a member and collaborator of the Collective of Honduran Women Filmmakers, Woman Filmmakers of CA (Central America), Brown Girls Doc Mafia Collective, and WIFT+. Currently, she is working as an Industry Programmer Manager at Hot Docs Canadian International Documentary Festival.
