Her documentary series, Nobody Dies Here: Inside Melbourne’s Medically Supervised Injecting Room has received awards including Best Documentary at the 2023 Australian Podcast Awards.

Michelle wrote, produced, edited, sound-designed and hosted the 12-part series using material she recorded on site in the last weeks of the MSIR’s contentious trial period.

A former longtime producer with the Australian Broadcasting Corporation’s Conversations with Richard Fidler and Sarah Kanowski interview program, Michelle’s features and podcasts (as Alongside Radio) have been commissioned by ABC Audio Studios, ABC RN, and released independently.

She is currently developing work for the theatre and television, as well as more podcast documentary series.
