Previously, Sashka was a Senior Producer with Four Corners, Australia’s leading investigative documentary program. She has made dozens of films for Four Corners, receiving three Walkley Awards – twice in the Production category which specifically acknowledges the work of producers.

Prior to joining the ABC Sashka was based in America producing TV programs and radio documentaries for Australian and international media outlets including the BBC, Beyond Productions, WNYC, SBS and PBS. Since joining the ABC, she have produced stories from across the world for programs including Four Corners, Foreign Correspondent and Lateline.

Sashka is the recipient of numerous journalism awards including the 2019 Lowy Institute Media Award, the New York Women Press Club Award, silver and bronze New York Festivals Awards for my independent radio documentaries, the 2017 Gold Quill from the Melbourne Press Club, and three Walkley Awards, Australia’s highest journalism honour.
