In recent years Yianna has worked as the Head of the Market for both the Thessaloniki International Film Festival and Thessaloniki Documentary Festival and recently has been appointed as consultant for innovative programs & new technologies.  She began working there as a programmer in 2002, having graduated in 2000 with a BA and MA in Communication Studies and Film Studies from Coventry University and City University in the UK. Yianna is also Head of Program at the Greek Film Festival in Berlin.
